Job Title:    Business Development Manager – Services


Reporting to:  Head – Services Sales


Experience: Min 8 yrs


Location: Bangalore



 

Objective / Purpose of duty:
Grow company’s Services business comprising Managed Services, Professional Services and IT Outsourcing Services, in the assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities:

Broad Role Definition

1.    Drive services sales in the assigned territory of captive and virgin accounts, through structured account planning, incumbency plotting and a comprehensive pursuit action plan
2.    Maintain impeccable commit discipline and seasonality to achieve assigned business targets of booking, revenue and profitability
3.    Grow the funnel and ensure a healthy mix of run rate and strategic deals
4.    Actively participate in client service delivery reviews to upsell/cross sell
5.    Achieve and maintain high client CSAT at all times
6.    Strong understanding of Companies solutions and services and their market positioning and competitive advantage

Essential Skills:

1.    IT sales/pre sales experience, preferably with brands such as HCL Tech, Wipro, IBM, Cognizant, Mphasis, Tech Mahindra, CSC, HP
2.    Demonstrable record of leading complex sales 
3.    Strong communication and objection handling skills
4.    Ability to leverage and lead matrix based resources to position company as the vendor of choice for single/multi tower IT outsourcing
5.    Should be hands on and detail oriented
6.    Strong presentation skills (mock presentation to be part of the hiring process) in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills
7.    Strong knowledge in
a.     Infrastructure Managed Services
b.     Network Management Services
c.     IP telephony

Experience & Qualification:
·         Individual Contributor: 10 - 15 years in IT Sales/Pre Sales with minimum 2-3 years’ experience with a large IT Systems Integrator
·         Degree or Diploma in Electronics/ Computers / IT from a recognized University.
·         MBA from a good institute would be preferred
