Skills:

Must demonstrate
excellent presentation, prospecting and negotiating skills. Previous experience
in selling high bandwidth networks in an IP and/or multi protocol environment
required.

Must have
successful track record in achieving assigned quotas, leading coordination of
and responding to complex proposals and working successfully with integrators
and resellers in a joint selling capacity.

Must have strong
relationship selling skills within the said vertical and be able to lead sales
calls at every level of an account, executive level or otherwise. Must be a
self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking ability. Understanding of
business organizations and their buying cycles is required. Experience selling
in a high technology and networking industry and knowledge of LAN networks is
required. Must have experience in selling TCP/IP networking products in Campus
wide networks, Building LAN.

Qualification: - Candidate must be

Job Title: Sales Engineer/Presales
Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Chennai
Experience: 6+ years
Job Descriptions:
Pre-sale
and/or post-sale support of company products/systems. Provides technical
support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and
maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning
according to specifications. Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning
system software and applications. Provides software development and
consultation to prospective users. May build a mini-application based on
customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often
requiring rapid prototyping.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have
the following:

Strong,
successful pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory in
a similar position is necessary.
·
Enterprise Market
and direct sales engineering experience is ideal with emphasis on
verticals-ISP's, publishing, financials, manufacturing, insurance, engineering,
large universities, utilities, and government organizations.
·
Experience
working with Channel is a plus for technical training on products.
·
Major account
experience and experience in closing deals is necessary.
·
Strong Gigabit
Ethernet LAN switching and routing technical skills, knowledge of OSPF and BGP
routing protocols and TCP/IP conversant is essential.
·
Must have
strength in working in Layers 2-7 of the OSI model, strong datacom network
design experience and strong data equipment pre-sales engineering experience
(routers, switches, gigabit ethernet).
·
Must be able to
support customer evaluations, demonstrations and detail design requirements.
·
Domestic/International
travel could be required.
