Staff Networking - C,C++,Python,Kubernetes

·         Job Description

NetScaler team is on a mission to provide the best application delivery experience for modern application architectures deployed on Kubernetes. We are looking for talented and highly motivated software engineers interested in taking on challenges associated with security, performance, scale, usability, and visibility in a distributed environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds and work on cutting-edge technology in data center computing.

Primary Accountabilities:

·         Design and implement Layer7 proxy and and solutions based on the Layer7 proxyin Docker and Kubernetes environment for data center on-prem and cloud.
·         Design and implement highly scalable control plane in Kubernetes/Istio Service mesh
·         Design and implement application delivery solutions in  Azure, AWS, GCP

Qualification

·         BS/MS in CS/EE or equivalent
·         Minimum of 8 years of proven design and development skills in complex applications and systems software
·         Proficient in C, Python and Go
·         Expertise in Algorithms and data structures
·         Broad system level knowledge, preferably with Unix variant
·         Good analytical and problem solving skill.

Preferred Skills :

·         Hands on experience in designing and implementing controllers in Kubernetes/Istio
·         Experience in OOPs and Multi-threaded programming
·         Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills both at protocol level and systems level
·         Good understanding of Networking in Microservices environments like Kubernetes/Dockers. Exposure to Flannel/Calico/Weave will be good.
·         Good understanding of Service Mesh architecture like Istio.
·         Good understanding of Cloud technologies and hands on development experience on AWS/Azure/GCP
·         Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking a must. Should have good working experience on various L2, L3, L4 networking technologies

·         Should be able to prioritize tasks
·         Should have the ability to deliver high quality software under aggressive release schedules
·         Should work collaboratively with other engineers, and be willing to take on any engineering tasks that contribute to progress towards the goals of the team and of the company.
