Description – Financial Services Industry Consultant
The Financial Services Industry
Consultant leverages knowledge and contacts within Financial Services industry
to promote sales of business and technology solutions from Company. The Industry Consultant has broad knowledge
of the financial services industry and specific in-depth expertise in Retail
Banking. The Industry Consultant
articulates industry vision and trends, and provides industry knowledge to
marketing and sales support activities.
The Industry Consultant establishes or enhances executive level
relationships, provides subject matter expertise on engagements and identifies
new target opportunities emerging within the industry. The Industry Consultant will be expected to
deliver high level, customer billable consulting to our targeted accounts and
oversee the development of the customer engagement model for additional
services. In addition, the industry
Consultant develops long term strategic partnerships.
Education and Experience Requirements

Years Experience

Sr.
Level: 10+ (or equivalent)

Previous Work Experience
|
Sr.
Level: Senior level operational responsibility at a recognized Bank or 7+
years actual business consulting with a consultant organization within
Financial Services Industry

Education
|
Bachelors in
Business, Marketing, Finance or Information Systems
|
·
Industry Expertise
|
Broad
understanding of the Financial Services industry and business while
understanding the discriminating key business objectives and critical success
factors that guide the business
Expertise in
evaluating a customer’s organization structure, business performance, and financial
standing. Translating overall business strategy and objectives into a
business plan outlining key business opportunities.

Domain Expertise
|
Financial Services Domain expertise. Understanding key business processes
within an industry, where they intersect the business functional areas, the
interaction between business functions and the impact they can have on each
other.

Consulting Experience
|
Ability to consult with the client to identify opportunities for
business improvement and develop action plans through business needs analysis
and to link business objectives to solution offers, which include critical
thinking and analytical reasoning that identifies the business opportunity
with the most compelling ROI analysis, benefits, risk, and success factors.
Experience in capturing customer insight, experiences, and best
practices for reuse in future client engagements

Understanding
