Responsibilities:
·
Be
able to articulate customer VDI desktop use cases clearly in the detailed design
including, memory, CPU and I/O requirements.
·
Analyzes
customer's business and technology objectives by asking probing questions that
are relevant to the customer in order to collect information for the VDI design.
·
Develop
and propose custom solutions that differentiate Company software and services,
and meet customer’s requirements and objectives
·
Work
with Company sales , Presales and PSO practice manager’s in scoping large and
complex VDI engagements
Document client feature requests and issues, providing feedback to sales and product management
Present Company’s technical & business value proposition at industry events
Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Company and domain expertise within technology subject area
Document client feature requests and issues, providing feedback to sales and product management

VMware
VCP 5 with View 5 design and deployment experience, Having VCP5 DT or VCAP
certification is a plus
·
Exposure
to other Company desktop related technologies such as Horizon, ThinApp and
Mirage
·
View
5 management experience in a production environment
·
VMware
Storage Integration experience
·
VMware
switching technologies experience
·
Windows
Server 2008 R2 Admin experience (AD, File Services, RDS, Profile Services)
·
Basic
Networking TCP protocol experience.
·
UCS
Hardware and Software Experience
·
EMC/NetApp
Storage Administration Experience
·
AD
Group Policy experience
·
VMware
Storage Accelerator knowledge/experience
·
User
Virtualization Tools (NetApp, RES, etc.)
·
Expert
level in Microsoft Windows Management
·
Active
Directory and GPO implementation
·
User
management and data centralization technologies
·
Sysprep,
OS imaging, and automated deployment tools
·
Windows
Remote Computing
·
Terminal
Services and RDP Groups, security requirements, default configurations
Other Requirements:

B.E/B.Tech/BCA/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc or equivalent
advantageous Project consulting and delivery experience
·
A
strong technical background in Virtual Infrastructure with expert knowledge of Company
core products and solutions is desired
·
Industry
certification(s) within subject area required
·
Must
be immensely capable, an excellent communicator with a can do attitude and the
ability to adapt to change
·
Strong
presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high quality project
plans to both technical and executive audiences.

Must
exhibit ability to speak in front of large audiences
·
Strong
customer facing and relationship building skills
·
Strong
writing skills with the ability to create technical documentation
·
Must
be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
