Job Description

The Global Technical Alliance Manager (GTAM) will build solid relationships with Company’s Global Systems Integrator (SI) Partners based in India (e.g. TCS, Wipro, Infosys) to increase Company's and partner revenues. The GTAM manages technical partner activities at all levels by building a comprehensive technical business plan for the alliance, including identifying, incubating, and bringing to market value added repeatable partner service/solution offerings as well as enabling SI partners in Company technologies and solutions. The GTAM will also connect the proper partner and Company resources to achieve solution and enablement business plan goals. The GTAM will work closely with the Global Alliance Manager (GAM) and all Company Business Units to ensure alignment of their activities with corporate initiatives and objectives. A senior-level business expert with a consultative approach, the GTAM is competent to work in the areas of strategic planning, solution development, technical business enablement and process management, all within the context of global technical alliance development.

In addition, the GTAM will:

- Develop an annual global enablement plan derived from input from relevant Company personnel and their counterparts within the Global Alliance
- In conjunction with the GAM, will provide global plans to regions for feedback and adoption
- Establish priorities based on the overall plan and make sure that these priorities are clearly transmitted and carried out by the team
- Participate in quarterly executive reviews between the Company global executive sponsor, SI partner executives, and Company global virtual team and will drive solution and enablement aspects of the reviews
- Own global training and competency plans for partner technical staff
- Build and manage the executive relationships with the Company practice SME’s/leaders and global vertical leads at partners
- Own definition of Center of Excellence strategy and plan for partners
- Lead communications with regional technical alliance managers for knowledge transfer, best practice sharing, enablement, improvements
- Proactively manage to desired business results and report them in a quarterly scorecard owned by GAM
- Support global technical alliance and solution development activities with other partners as necessary

Experience Requirements:

- 10+ yrs of technical alliance experience, preferably with/for SI or SO firms based in India (e.g. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys); preferably global experience. Experience working with more than one India-based SI partner a strong plus
- Experience in building and managing solutions and enablement programs, including all program lifecycle aspects (such as building a business case, high-level architecture definition, resource plans, education/communication plan)
- Experience building custom, competency-based training plans is preferred
- He or she should be an accomplished presenter of sales and technical material to both small and large groups. The ability to present extemporaneously is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are required
- Working knowledge of ITaaS, SaaS, PaaS and cloud computing highly desired. Strong knowledge of strategic outsourcing (SO) and systems integration (SI) business strategies as well as pursuit and delivery models highly desired
- The candidate must be a self-starter and possess excellent time management skills. The successful
candidate will function independently to determine proper methods and procedures and may supervise other personnel as part of the role
- Program management experience desired
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics. MBA Preferred
