Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Director is
responsible for the end to end supply chain whilst supervising a team
covering vendor
Demand Planning, Purchasing,
Freight, Warehousing & Distribution, Material Master & Stock Control,
Project management and
Contract management. Being the link between sales, marketing, finance and
operations to ensure that any
supply chain issues/initiatives are communicated back to the business.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Manage the end to end
supply chain objectives:
|
Undertake all key activities
of SCM to manage the assigned business Unit effectively
Monitor the end results of
departmental managers in such a way that they are met
|
2. Manage the business
Unit staff
|
Set individual and
departmental objectives
Discuss work progress on both
group and individual level
Oversee that workload is
divided in such a matter that goals can be met on time
Manage the existing knowledge
level
Own 3pl KPI’s and monitor
accordingly
|
3. Manage the departmental
budget
|
Calculate the budget needed
to meet departmental plans
Monitor the budget throughout
the year
Make adjustments/optimize
where needed supply chain cost and cost optimisation for the business

4. Develop the Supplier
base

5. Improve work processes

Analyze and review current
work processes

6. Project Management

Basic Qualifications:

10 + years
experience in SCM
·
Exemplary
management skills
·
Excellent
communication and negotiation skills
·
Experience of
working with China ODMs and other Asian suppliers
·
Experience of
running or being part of USD 25 million+ (sales) supply chain operation
·
Very good
understanding of SAP and other supply chain/warehouse management systems
·
Knowledge of
departmental and organizational discipline
·
Experience in
leading a team
Desired Characteristics:
·
Masters degree is a plus.
·
Ability to influence and drive change.
·
Possess advanced
skills in cross-cultural awareness, leadership, influencing, communication, problem
solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
·
Experience in building processes, metrics, controls,
governance, and organization necessary to deliver mission critical projects.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness to travel 15% of the time.
- Willingness to work overtime to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test, if required.
