Job Title: Sales Engineer/Cloud Solution Architect (CSA)

Reporting to Head of Product & Marketing

Location: Bangalore/Mumbai

 

About the Product:

Organisation is working on a Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform that enables customers to order, provision & monitor networking services orchestrating the full B2B customer life cycle. The customer-facing portal is the customer touchpoint for our whole portfolio of networking solutions including third-party value-added service via partners.

Overview

We are looking for Sales Engineer/Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) who will work closely with customers & partners and support them in solution design during the pre-sales process. As a CSA, you will design solutions using an industry leading NaaS platform offering cloud networking solutions. The ideal person for this role should have successfully designed and implemented layer 2 and layer 3 networking solutions in the past with deep expertise in the cloud. The CSA will be a key enabler for the sales team and play a crucial role in the success and growth of the platform and its users.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

·       Provide pre-sales technical enablement by working with sales team and partners

·       Keep up to date knowledge of Organisation’s products and solutions, APIs, competitive products, as well as products of our cloud technology partners like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle etc

·       Keep up to date knowledge of industry trends & disruptions

·       Work along with sales team/partners and transfer knowledge of Organisation products to them

·       Support sales opportunities by analysing customer requirements, identifying opportunities to design custom solutions, doing feasibility study, implementing, and demonstrating proof-of-concept (POC) to the customers

·       Prepare solution designs for customers/partners using Organisation/Partner solutions

·       Prepare business requirement document and work with Partners/Vendors/Operations team/Engineering team in implementing solutions for customers

·       Be a strong pillar of support for customers in implementing industry best practices in cloud networking

·       Contribute to long term product vision by translating evolving customer needs to the product & marketing team

 

What we are looking for

 

·       Bachelor’s in engineering or related technical field with 7+ years of experience in designing/ implementing cloud network solutions for enterprises

·       Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

·       Experience working with vendors, partners in delivering solutions to the customers

·       Strong technical background in designing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures, with a background in enterprise cloud deployments

·       Experience/understanding of technologies – WAN standards and SD-WAN

·       Certified in cloud networking with AWS, Azure, GCP, Aviatrix etc.

·       Experience in designing or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customer environments is highly desired

·       Knowledge of APIs, Network automation, Cloud workload architectures is required
