Job Overview
The Director / Snr Director of Professional Services will have responsibility of leading a team of professional services sales, education, technical account managers and consultants that will provide strategic and technical consulting services for selected Company enterprise customers and partners associated with the Company software portfolio.
This is a senior role and will directly report into the APJ SVP of Professional Services and dotted to the Regional VP & General Manager. The day-to-day engagement will be with the Regional VP & General Manager.
In working with our select customers, the objective of the services organisation is to drive adoption, successful implementation and value realization and overall increasing maturity of Company customers through consulting engagements.
Responsibilities

Build effective long term business
relationships with customer VPs, and C-level executives
·
Increase customer retention and expand
existing accounts
·
Work with the Professional Services sales,
education, delivery & technical account manager team to deliver
high-quality, results based customer experience across all customer engagements

Understand the competitive landscape and the
impact to the solution and pricing
·
Determine strategic and tactical operational
plans relating to professional services function and initiatives
·
Manage the P&L for a complete book of
business including Bookings, Revenue, Margin, Utilisation, Delivery Quality and
Customer Satisfaction.

Establish credibility, develop and maintain
effective relationships between the services function and other Company
business units, taking a strategic and proactive approach as a value added
partner

Identify new trends and creating strategic
action plans to lead the team and our customers forward in the Software Defined
Data Center, End User Computing and Hybrid Clouds
·
Develop and maintain a dynamic resource
capacity model to achieve required scale as the business changes
·
Optimise use of internal resources, outside
resources and service partners to achieve desired results
·
Maintain talent by recruiting, training and
developing top leadership and individual contributor talent
Continue to optimise internal processes, practices and quality standards
