Role: Principal Engineer

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop, integrate, unit and component Test Digital Cluster Applications for both Stand-alone, fully Digital Clusters and Integrated Cockpits (integrated with Infotainment, ADAS, HUDs and Intelligent Personal Assistant, etc)
    • Develop Cluster Application and middleware architecture for Standalone fully Digital Clusters as well as Integrated Cockpit
    • Ensure design and implementation to meet the performance and Functional requirements expected of these systems
    • Interact with multiple stakeholders such as HMI team, Graphics teams, Requirements specification teams and System SW team to enable successfully delivery of Cluster Applications.
  • Develop, integrate and unit test system level components for digital clusters and Cockpit solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Computer Engineering/science or Electrical / Electronics / Comm. Engineering
Desired experience  
  • 10 ~ 17 yrs of hands-on experience in Cluster & Infotainment Application development for Automotive Electronics systems
  • Experience in Instrument Cluster application development and associated HMI in terms of meeting time critical requirements during start up and at run time.
  • Experience in development of Cluster applications like Odometer, Trip, Gauges, Telltales, warnings, Infotainment repetitions etc and associated middleware
  • Experience with related HMI tools such as - Rightware Kanzi famework, Qt3D, Alita DeepScreen, EB Guide, etc
  • Experience in Multilayered Software architecture.
  • Experience in hard real time, embedded systems.
  • Experience in System integration, multi domain communication .
  • Proficiency in programming with C++.
  • Experience in working with QNX Neutrino, QNX Screen and Graphical Frameworks
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, Configuration (Perforce, etc.) and Project Management tools

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time
  • Willingness to work in an office in Bangalore, India.
  • Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test.
