Role Summary/Purpose:
Provide
strategic and operational day-to-day Human Resources leadership. This is a
Generalist HRM role in the fast paced and growth oriented entity in India, with
responsibility of key functions of Human Resources including Staffing &
Hiring, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, HR
Operations and OD interventions
Essential Responsibilities:
Staffing
& Hiring:
- Support the Recruitment manager by monitoring supply of personnel and coordinate resource management process to ensure the appropriate resource supply to address forecasted business demands of the Pune centre
- Manage interviews – from conducting initial HR screening to coordinating with technical panel (overseas panel as well as India panel)
- Handle recruitment tool where needed
- Provide periodic information on Recruitment statistics for the creation of a consolidated Recruitment dashboard
- Recommend sourcing strategy to drive workforce usage/mix plans, recruiting/joiner plans.
- Collaborate with recruiting teams and colleagues in other entity to ensure plans and targets are being achieved.
- Coordinate headcount plans to drive promotions, transfers, and attrition (both managed and un-managed) decisions. Oversee HR team’s execution of these transitions
General
HR:
- Provide full range of HR Generalist support to the Company International India Team at Pune
- Serve as an escalation point for personnel and employee relations issues and provide guidance and intervention, as needed, to resolve personnel issues
- Coordinate the Employee On-boarding process at Pune centre
- Coordinate the termination process by organizing discussions, ensuring appropriate documentation, conducting/coordinating exit interviews, and elevating and/or addressing any resulting issues
- Assist with implementation and coordinate major Human Resources processes (e.g. annual and midyear promotions, annual performance management, compensation and salary administration) according to organizational guidelines; work closely with Supervisor during compensation review cycle
- Drive the Target setting, Confirmation appraisal, midyear/full year Performance review, and Succession planning cycles for Company India, and ensures implementation of these programs in a timely and transparent manner. Conducts Target setting, Performance review workshops
- Support line managers in preparing Job Descriptions and ensures they remain updated at all times
- Support the Business HR manager during compensation survey by providing required inputs and analyses the data along with supervisor
- Facilitate Internal Job postings and employee movements, Organizational Announcements
- Support the Learning and Development Manager to facilitate L&D interventions in the Pune Centre
- Conduct Employee Engagement activities in consultation with supervisor. Maintains tracker and action items for these activities and ensures proper follow-up of action items to closure
- Analyse attrition data on periodic basis to arrive at trends, and takes corrective action, in consultation with supervisor
- Coordinate conduction/analysis of an Employee Satisfaction survey and owns action items thereof
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- MBA / equivalent PG in HR from a recognized university/institute
- XLRI would be preferred
- At least 13 years of Hands-on experience in HR Generalist, Recruitment & Operations areas
- Strong working knowledge of HR policies, processes & practices
- Excellent coaching, influencing and problem solving skills
- Outstanding communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
