Marketing consultant

Key Functions and Responsibilities :
·         Act as the face of Marketing Consulting Group for the company
·         Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and
            Strategic direction of the Marketing Consulting Group.
·         Function as a strategic partner by linking all the strategies with business strategy.
·         Develop and implement an annual agenda for strategy in line with the business plan
·         Single point of contact for any business or service requirement for all these accounts.
·         Adopted new strategies to win good deals
·         Should be able to penetrate into key accounts, map the key Operators, identify projects and deploy resources in supporting the accounts to meet their development schedules.
·         To provide a proactive level of support, working closely with the Operators business teams and use the org. resources to offer support to our key customers and providing the impetus for sustained sales growth to meet the objectives for the company.
·         Book high value orders for the company.
·         Maintaining relationship with existing accounts – Enhancing our presence and share in the account.
·         Techno-commercial negotiations with the clients – Includes Price, Product/solution, delivery.
·         Identifying and targeting potential clients for Churning competition business.
·         Cracking dormant and pro-competition accounts; Enhancing company’s business and relationship
·         Sales and Marketing role with an operator handling postpaid, prepaid and/or VAS businesses
·         U&R, CLM, role with operators
·         Analytics & BI, not from technology perspective but from a business analyst perspective.
·         Analytics practice.
·         Quantitative marketing
·         Strategic / Marketing Consultancy practice focused on operators.
Professional Degrees, Certification required for the position:

Skills Required/Desired:
·         The ideal candidate would have applied analytical and quantitative marketing to operators in U&R, CLM, etc,
·         12 to 15 years previous experience of managing a Marketing Consulting Team.
·         The candidates in consulting space who have done similar tasks (customer value maximisation; competitive product placement etc..) FMCG, Insurance, etc.
·         Previously influenced senior managers and driven an  strategy
·         At a Manager level, must have experience working in a standalone environment
·         Can quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships with
·          other managers in the company, outside the company
·         Demonstrable maturity, professionalism and excellent leadership qualities.
·         Ability to recognize the value and responsibility of working in a team, actively supports
·         and develops team members, quick to identify and problem solve any issues
·         Excellent analytical skills and ability to diagnose issues at an early stage.
·         Act as a role model for the own Group and  looks beyond own team as a role model and
·         source of knowledge. Works with others in a collaborative and solutions focused
·         manner to achieve win-win outcomes
·         Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions ability to generate effective
·         and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.
·         Demonstrate an understanding of personalities and behavioral styles in order to work
·         Collaboratively with a variety of people and to make informed decision and relationships
·         The ability to inspire confidence of the CEO, Senior Director SAM and other senior managers through timely delivery of information and plans. Works independently
·          but consults where appropriate.
·         Build strong relationship C-level executives within the customer organization
·         Willingness to travel and also stay in other locations for short durations.
·         Excellent attention to detail

Qualification Requirements:
·         B Tech
·         Post Graduate Degree\\Diploma in Telecom/ Marketing Management from XLRI/TISS/Symbiosis/ IIM's or any other reputed Institute.
