Purpose of Position
Drive additional revenue by working with customers and prospects to solve their business problems/issues. The Solutions Consultant will assist clients in defining specifications and requirements, build customized demonstrations of COMPANY products and applications and provides technology presentations to both technical and management-level audiences.
Working closely with Sales Account Executives to assist in pre-sales activity by providing the business & technical recommendations and configuration scenarios to prospective customers - Create and present customized solution-oriented demos - Research and respond to technical inquires from customer and prospects including RFP/RFI and RFQs - Contribute to COMPANY’s body of knowledge by providing feedback to management and other parts of the organization (ie. provide feedback to development staff on future product enhancements, quarterly win/loss reports, assignment to internal working teams or other activities designated by management) - Drive revenue - Prepare and deliver formal business & technical presentations to prospects and customers - Targeted to become and expert in a particular area of technology and vertical market - Work with current and prospective customers to map their business requirements to COMPANY SAP Solutions features and functions - Review and remain current on new product features and competitor offerings - Function as the technical liaison between clients and technical support - Travel within assigned region
Skills and Knowledge
- SAP BI, EBP, CRM, XI - SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP web application server and basic SAP Workflow - Experience with SAP ArchiveLink and Imaging systems (ie. COMPANY SAP Solutions Suite)
Bachelors or advanced degree preferably related to Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
